A standard 26 inch body length in 100% sheepskin pelts to create a legend and master piece B3 Sheepskin Bomber Jacket that is worn by so many who demand the best quality and maximum warmth. This is the B3 bomber jacket seen in so many pictures of the men who served in WWII, as crew members in the heavy bombers that flew over Europe.

The Men’s B3 Sheepskin Bomber Jacket was Standard Issue for Allied Bomber Crews during most of World War ll. The first aircraft were open cockpit with the air crews and pilots exposed to the cold elements. The higher and faster the flying became, the colder the temperatures dropped and crews found flight problematic. Many different styles of coats and jackets were tried, but The B3 Bomber Jacket proved the warmest jacket on the Planet!

It was Standard Issue for Allied Bomber Crews during most of World War ll. The B3 Bomber Jacket was first issued officially by the Army Air Corps in 1934, even then it was specifically for open cockpit flying the Crews and Gunners of the B17 Flying Fortress made this sheepskin jacket even more famous.
