Return & Exchange Policies

"All Orders" Shipped to Customers will require Customer to Sign for Delivery with a photo ID.   This is Required for Customer Protection.   We always Recommend Normal Ground Rate due to its Fair Cost and Established Reliability.

1.  U.S. CUSTOMERS ONLY---Requests for Product Exchanges or Returns must be within 10 Days of Receipt of Delivery of Merchandise and with a proper Online Invoice Number, Item Purchased, and Date of Purchase.   Please note that American Mystique will only conduct business or grant such a request with the original purchaser of the product.   Any and all Refunds or Total Amount Adjustments that might occur will only be granted to the Original purchaser only.  No International Returns or Exchanges accepted.    

All EXCHANGES & RETURNS must first be 1) approved by AMERICAN MYSTIQUE  and 2) Assigned a Return Authorization Code Number by AMERICAN MYSTIQUE.   ALL Return Authorizations are only valid for 14 Business Days.   Any Return Merchandise must be 1) Shipped & 2)Return and Exchanged Merchandise Must Be Received within 14 Business Days.

A Valid R. A. Number must be included with your return in order to assure proper credit.  All approved Returns must have a Valid Return Authorize Number granted only by American Mystique and all returns are subject to a 12% Restocking and Credit Card Re-Accrediting Fee.    

American Mystique is not responsible for any Merchandise or Products returned without a Valid Return Authorization Number or returned past the allowed 14 day limit Return Ship Limit.   If American Mystique should decide to accept a Late-Return and/or an Un-Authorized and/or Arbitrary Return from any Customer or Purchaser, the original Purchaser may or can be subject to a 20% RE-Stocking and Re-Accrediting Fee.  Arbitrary or Randomly sent Exchanges or Returns  without first being assigned an Authorization Code  are not accepted!   Any and All Exchanges or Returns that occur without obtaining a 'Return Authorization Code' prior  to shipping or expressed Approval from American Mystique WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED by American Mystique and/or it's Manufacturers and Distributors.  (UPDATED JAN 8TH, 2006)

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS - NO Returns or Exchanges, or Refunds, or Refund Adjustments for any International Sales, Transactions, Purchases, or Claims.  All International Sales and Purchases thorough American Mystique  are Final at the time of transaction.   If an International Order or Transaction cannot be delivered in 90 Days time, a Refund can be requested by Purchaser.  

We do offer from time to time 'Special Promotional'  'FREE GROUND SHIPPING' for some select products, but only for those Orders Shipped within the 48 United States.  Sorry, Hawaii, Alaska and all International Orders including other Territories are excluded from this Policy and Offer.

Original, Return, and any other accrued Shipping Costs or Options are the sole responsibility of the Purchaser and are none refundable.   We will provide you with a Return Authorization (RA) number for each return, which is valid for 14 days only. The valid R.A. Number must be included with your return in order to assure proper credit.    We are not responsible to accept any liability for issuing any Refunds for Merchandise returned without a Valid and Approved American Mystique Return Authorization Number.  Authorized Returns sent in beyond the 14 day Shipping Time Limit will no longer be accepted.

American Mystique's Photograph and/or Product Image Disclaimer:   

American Mystique sets all of it product photos and pictures using modern LCD technology.  Depending on Type of Monitor you view our Product Pictures, you will experience alternating colors and color tones.   All Product Images from Photographs, Digital Images of Products, Thumbnail Images used for Links and any other Product Likeness or Images Presented by American Mystique for the Customer's viewing may not necessarily represent an actual or exact true likeness of the Product for the Viewer or Shopper.  

  A) Colors and tones may vary from Likeness to Likeness.  Additionally, American Mystique may chose to lighten any Likeness or Image to enhance the display of certain product features.   For some Images, American Mystique has has sign an Image Agreement Contract with some Distributors and cannot alter their likeness. 

  B) In addition, not all Computers are adjusted the same for image color and tone presentation.  Also, Online Servers are not equal in their color or tone adjustments..  An LCD Monitor can and often presents a much lighter and enhanced likeness than other types of Monitors.  Every Computer and its Monitor, or other monitoring device such as a Cell Phone may present the viewer a inaccurate color presentation of any online image.

 Note: A Picture-Perfect Complaint by any customer stating any or such slight differences in color tones or lightness and/or darkness from an actual Purchased Product compared to the American Mystique's Retail Website's Image representation does not qualify as a reason to substantiate a Product Return for Refund.


***CHRISTMAS NOTICE---All Purchases Dating from Midnight-Nov 15th to Midnight-Dec 21st  for Items intended or specifically held as Christmas Presents/Gifts for December 25th, are Granted Special Holiday Exchange for Size and/or Return Considerations Only until Midnight-December 31st.   No Exceptions from the stated Nov 15th to Dec 21st time period will be granted beyond the  End of Year DEC 31st Date.   Items Purchased After the December 21st Date still retain their own 10 Day Receipt clause.  All items purchased before Midnight-Nov 15th retain the 10 days from receipt or delivery for normal exchanges or returns.

Requests for Exchanges or Returns outside this time frame will ONLY be considered from their NORMAL PURCHASE AND DATE OF DELIVERY RECEIPT.

International Trips by Customers.  Any Product purchased through American Mystique for any purpose and transported overseas, or Internationally, or to any other Country other than the United States cannot be Returned or Exchanged.  Any and all request for exchange and return are forfeited by the Customer and/or Original Purchaser.

2. ANY MERCHANDISE CUT, TORN, BLEMISHED, MARKED, OR PUNCTURED THROUGH USE OR SHOWING WEAR WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED FOR EXCHANGE OR RETURN.   ANY JACKET OR COAT SMELLING OF ODORS FROM CIGARETTES, CIGARS, PIPE-SMOKE, OR PERFUMES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED FOR EXCHANGE OR RETURN.  ANY MERCHANDISE CONTAINING ODORS OR ANY BLEMISHING FROM DISTILLATES, LUBRICANTS, OR DEODORANT RESIDUES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED FOR EXCHANGE OR RETURN.   Should we receive such Returns, they will be sent back to the Customer at their expense.   Shipping charges and Insurance costs are non-refundable. 

 

2A: Fraudulent Returns:  American Mystique® retains all rights to Refuse any Request for Return or Exchange or any Refund Request or Refund Demand when said Request for Return or Exchange is initiated or authored by anyone, customer/and/or/purchaser/and/or/recipient, who has authored, used, or be party to False Pretense, Fraudulent Affectations, Reasons, Causes, and other Prevarications and/or other Untruths to effect a hoax, cheat, fraud, and/or to Defraud American Mystique® and/or its Suppliers and/or Manufacturers/Distributors in any way or fashion, or processes.  If American Mystique through its Owners and/or employees, or through its Suppliers and/or Manufacturers/Distributors should discover or learn of any Falsehoods or Inventions during the Return or Exchange Process, American Mystique® retains all rights to Deny, Detain or Suspend, and Refuse any/or all such requests for said Returns or Exchange Requests, Applications, or Processes.

 *** DO NOT USE A SHARP INSTRUMENT  to open the Packages that your jacket is mailed in!     We know you are excited and want to see it NOW! - but if you go at it with a scissors, razor blade or knife you might slice the jacket inside the package.    We cannot and will not accept any returns on jackets or other apparel that have been damaged during the opening process.

Leather Jacket Repair & Restoration

 

Often folks contact us concerning an older leather jacket that is a treasured or prized heirloom, something Dad wore in the Service, or just a special Leather Jacket they purchased years back and is now showing serious wear.   Although we do not do perform such repairs or restorations, we recommend Willow Evans for all repairs and restorations of leather jackets.    Willow does meticulous work, ---repairing webbing, zippers, collars, cuffs, snaps, and even difficult leather restoration.   Even old dried out Leather can actually be restore to its original state or close to it.  So, if you do have an aged or damaged jacket, American Mystique directs you to Willow Evans, a full Tailor specializing in the repair and restoration of damaged Leather Jackets, be they Bomber or Flight Jackets, or even prized Motorcycle Jackets and Vests .

Security Policies

1.    American Mystique™ recognizes Customer Concerns and Worries over Credit Card Usage,  Fraud,  and  possible ID-Theft over the Internet.  We appreciate our Customer's concerns about Private Information and take every step to safeguard all information imparted to us electronically or otherwise.  Authorize.Net processes each transaction and your private information is never seen or viewed by outsiders, nor is it available to hackers.  All information processes and financial transactions take place within a Secured Area and Secured Server.  Our Shopping Cart is Authorize.Net Certified.

 

2.    American Mystique™ only requires the absolute minimum information for the Transaction to take place and to have the product shipped to you.     We do not sell or share your private information with anyone, corporate or otherwise, for purposes such as Prospect Lists, Advertising Lists, or Sales Demographics.     The only information released by American Mystique™ is the Proper Shipping Address to the actual Shipper so you can receive your purchase.

 

3.      American Mystique™ does not Trade, Sell, Give, or Share Individual, Group, or Business Customer Information or Demographics to any individuals or business for any reason other than shipping purposes.  American Mystique™ does not send or generate 'Spam' Email to it's Customers or the general Public.   If a Business or Agency is purchasing in Volume or Wholesale, you will be required to furnish a W-9 Form and other forms as required by the type of Sale.

 

4.  American Mystique™ does not forward or send Email Advertisements or Newsletters, 'Spam Email', or any such like Spam Attachments to it's Customers or to the General Public at large.  If you receive any such suspicious email, especially with attachments, labeled as initiated from American Mystique in your Email, it is probably a 'Hoax Email' with a heavy possibility of an attached Worm or Virus.   Please Delete it Immediately.   If you have any doubts concerning this issue, we urge you to call us Toll Free 888.736.4570 to confirm any legitimate Email Message.  Any such "Bogus" Email has probably been a result of Spam Harvesting Search Software and is not a resulting product of or from American Mystique.

 

5.  American Mystique takes great Pride in its Customer Service.  Part of this Customer Service involves Email Contact with our Customers.  If Your Email is blocking out everything but highly trusted contacts, we will be unable to contact you by email.  We do not have the time to fill out 'Applications for Trusted Contacts' for each & every Customer.  

 

6.   All Shopping Cart Credit Card Transactions are initiated and fully submitted for funds capture at the Time of Purchase.   Businesses are only permitted to capture Card Funds within a set 30-day period.  After 30 days, no billing or funds Capture is allowed by the banking system.  Some Retail Stores, as a convenience for their Customers, allow their Shopping Cart, or their Employees to submit or capture Credit Card Funds at a later time or date, depending on merchandise shipments.  To do so, the Retailer must hold, delay, and store that individual Credit Card Data within their computer banks or some other Data holding area.  This simple convenience puts that Customer’s Credit Card Information at very high risk for Theft.   American Mystique considers any convenience that puts our customers information at risk, no longer a convenience.

 

How to Make a Purchase

Once you have clicked onto the Size and Quantity for an Article, just click the 'Add to Cart' button and You are on your way to an official Transaction within our Shopping Cart.  Once there, just fill in the Required Information according to instructions and then click continue or submit.  This will take you to a Information Confirmation Page where you can Check over everything you typed for possible errors (make sure your Email is correct and current, a receipt will be coming to you in the email you include with your information).  Click Submit and then You will be transferred to the Shipping Options Page where you can see the cost for the different shipping option available to you.  Click what Option you desire and then Submit again.   Now you will be in a secured area where you can enter all of the transaction information regarding your card.  Here is where the actual transaction will occur within a secured field.  Once you have finished, just click Submit only once (be careful here, just click once only).  If the transaction has been accepted by Authorize.Net, Your Credit Card will be charged and the Product forwarded to you.

 

Product Warranty Statement

If a item has a Manufacturers Defect it may have to be returned direct to the Original Manufacturer of the product,  as per the Manufacturer's Literature and Directions that comes with the Product.     AMERICAN MYSTIQUE™  is not responsible for Warranties on Products which carry one.    Nor are we a repair station.   American Mystique™ makes no express or implied warranty whatsoever with respect to any merchandise, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.     Warranties provided are provided by the Manufacturer only and are as contained in each Manufacturer's Product Package.     All requests for warranty information, repairs, and claims should be made directly to the Original Manufacturer.  Please ship all repairs directly to the Manufacturer to avoid delays.

 AMERICAN MYSTIQUE™ is not responsible for manufacture's defects,  however AMERICAN MYSTIQUE™ will be happy to work with it's customers and on it's customers behalf to assure their satisfaction.  

If a Product is damaged or lost during Shipping, please let us know right away.  American Mystique™ and it's Suppliers will work to get you a replacement or return.
